digital camera

I'm so bummed...i got a Kodak digital camera for my birthday last August (2007) and had it about six months when it quit working. Because I don't take a lot of pictures, and in this case was procrastinating, I didn't do anything about it until it was almost too late. I had been bought at Wal-Mart so I took it in there to ask them for help as to what I should do. They told me to contact Kodak directly. So I did.

Thankfully had filled out the warranty card and mailed it in when I got the camera so they knew when I had received it. By the time I got hold of them I only had 3 weeks left on the one-year warranty. They had me send the camera to them, and later let me know it was a power issue. I received the camera back and it worked like a charm...for about 2 weeks. Now the warranty has expired and I have no recourse. I am kicking myself for procrastinating in the first place.

I still have my 35mm and that works okay for most things, but what I am really frustrated about is that I no longer have a camera that's good for taking pictures of my layouts to post. My scanner doesn't work well when it comes to this particular task, and I really depended on my camera for that.

Just need to vent some frustration...

man that stinks. i love my scanner. It's rickety and moody but it was cheap and ti scans 11 X17 so no stitching.

That really stinks. I've been very lucky. I've only had Canon and (knock wood) they've been fabulous! I too use the camera for my layouts - love my scanner for many things but I hate the stitching required.

Vent away ...
